This is family

There's room for you here.

You don't have to have it all together. You don't have to dress a certain way or know the right answers. Just come as you are.

Kingdom House is a room for the hurting, the hopeful, the curious, and the burned-out. Real people, real worship, real community.

Your first Sunday

Here's exactly what happens when you walk through the door.

We know going to a new church where you don't know anyone can be tough. We want to remove the nerves and anxiety around that as much as we can. Here, there's no pressure. No need to perform and we don't do secret handshakes with the 'insiders' (unless you like handshakes). Just people who love Jesus and can't wait to meet you.

  1. 01

    You'll pull in.

Look for the Kingdom House flags at Central Cabarrus High School. Free parking, right at the main entrance.

  2. 02

    You'll be greeted.

Our team will be at the door with coffee, a smile, and answers to any question you didn't know you had.

  3. 03

    Your kids are safe.

Kingdom Kids (6 weeks–5th grade) is check-in near the entrance. Every volunteer is background-checked and trained.

  4. 04

    About 90 minutes.

Worship, teaching straight from the Bible, and space to breathe. Come as you are — jeans, sneakers, whatever.

Why we exist

Values that
shape everything.

A woman worshipping with hands raised

We are passionate about Pursuit.

We chase the presence of God — not out of duty, but out of hunger. Worship is real. Prayer is real. Encounter is real.

Two women from different backgrounds sharing a warm hug

We look and operate like Heaven.

Every tribe. Every tongue. Every story. We're building a room on earth that looks a little more like the room in Heaven.

A man surrounded by his church family, eyes closed in worship

We refuse to do life Alone.

You weren't made to figure it out by yourself. Circles, mentors, prayer partners — the family shows up for each other.

We give God our First Fruits.

We give God our first and our best as a First Fruits Church, not our leftovers. Our time, our worship, our resources — He gets the first and the finest.

A letter from the Killians

We came back to Concord to plant a family.

In late 2023 we began to sense the Lord's timing on the call for us and our two amazing children to do something wild. Pioneer a church.

After twelve years of serving in a few different ministry roles, our path led us back to Concord, NC — where everything began. Our dream is to launch a life-giving, Bible believing, Spirit-empowered community called Kingdom House.

Need prayer?

God is still a Healer and a Restorer.

We believe God heals — bodies, minds, marriages, and the parts of a story nobody else knows about. We believe He restores what's been broken and wasted, and that He does it with kindness, not shame.

That's the whole reason we exist: to love and lead people from hurt to whole through Jesus. Prayer is where that starts for most of us.

Nothing is too small and nothing is too messy. A real person on our prayer team reads every request and prays over it by name.

Tell us how we can pray.

Would you like to be contacted by someone on our team?

Why we ask: your name lets us pray for you by name instead of as a stranger. Your email and phone are only so a pastor or member of our prayer team can follow up if you said yes — we won't add you to anything you didn't ask for. Requests stay with our prayer team and are never shared publicly.

We'll save you
a seat.

Your first visit doesn't have to be intimidating. Plan Your Visit! and we'll be looking for you.
